Mail Carrier Accused of Stealing Mail
WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A mail carrier is accused of stealing letters in Weakley County. According to federal court documents, Terry Lynn Howell is accused of taking nine items that were meant for others. Court papers say that Howell was a postal service employee when the thefts allegedly happened. All of the alleged thefts happened in September 2012. If Howell is convicted, he faces up to five years in jail and a $250,000 fine. He is currently free on $10,000 bond.
