Man Wanted for Theft from Walmart

JACKSON, Tenn.-A man is wanted for theft after being accused of walking into Walmart South and cutting a $300 cell phone from the display then leaving the store. Investigators say the man, only described as white, walked into the Walmart on South Highland, made his way to the electronics department, selected a cell phone and cut it from the display. He then is accused of walking to the housewares department and removing the phone from the box before leaving the store. The surveillance camera caught the man getting into a green Ford F-150 pickup. Jackson Police Department is asking for anyone with any information to give them a call at (731) 425-8400 or call Crimestoppers at (731) 424-TIPS.
