Man Coming Down From Drugs Shoots Up House

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man called the Jackson Police Department early this morning to report a break-in, but it ended up being just a figment of his imagination. At 4:30 a.m., a man who lives on the 600 block Ashport Road called police and said that someone was trying to get into his home. He fired shots into the house at the alleged intruder. Police responded to the break-in, and then realized that the man was having withdrawls from some type of abusive substance and he was seeing things. The man was coming out through the window when police arrived. The was then taken into custody. No one was injured in the incident.
