U.S. Marshals Ask Public’s Help Locating Suspected Lane Avenue Shooter

Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshals and Jackson Police are asking the public to assist in locating Dequevion Lee who is wanted in connection with a Jackson shooting. According to Investigators with the Jackson Police Department the shooting took place December 10, 2013 at 357 Lane Avenue. Investigators say in that incident Marketus Hendrix was shot several times and Dequevion Lee and Moriarco Lee were soon identified as suspects. Moriarco Lee was arrested by Marshals on December 17, 2013 and remains in the Madison County Jail. Investigators say Dequevion Lee may have fled the Jackson area and are asking anyone with information contact the U.S. Marshals at 731-427-4661 or the Jackson Crimestoppers. A cash reward is being offered for information and all calls will remain confidential. Lee is described as a 22 year old black male, 5‘08″ tall weighing 210 lbs. The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) is a wing of the U.S. Marshals Service and has offices in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. The Jackson, TN office consists of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Investigators with the Jackson Police Department and Deputies with the Madison County Tennessee Sheriffs Office.
