Local Car Dealership Donates New Car To RIFA

NORTH JACKSON — A local organization that ministers to families and those in need across the area get a boost for their efforts, Monday. Robinson Toyota donated a new truck to the regional interfaith association Monday. “RIFA” is a Christian nonprofit organization that feeds, clothes and trains people in need. Leaders say they want to show Christ’s love in action every day of the year. “What we drive now is a 20-year-old 15 passenger van with the seats pulled out,” Lisa Tillman, the Executive Director of RIFA, said. “And so for RIFA to get a brand new truck like this is just such and incredible, incredible blessing for us.” Management for Robinson Toyota said they wanted the first vehicle from their new location to be donated to a non-profit, and was able to do so with each employee contributing to help make the gift possible.
