Cousins Accused of Triple Shooting Appear in Court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The two cousins accused of the shooting deaths of two people and leaving another injured were court Thursday, but only for a few minutes. Derrick and Johnny Wade appeared for their preliminary hearings charged with two counts of felony murder of Markel Owens and Johnny Shivers, especially aggravated robbery of Shivers, attempted first-degree murder of Chermaine Owens, aggravated assault of a 16-year-old boy and tampering with evidence. The two will return to court on Feb. 13 at 1:30 p.m.
