NYC man convicted of manslaughter nabbed in Tenn.
NEW YORK (AP) – Police say a man convicted of manslaughter has been arrested in Tennessee after trading clothes with a friend and slipping out of a New York City psychiatric facility.
The New York Police Department says a friend visited Raymond Morillo at the Creedmore Psychiatric Center in Queens on Tuesday.
According to the Daily News (http://nydn.us/1fDzJxA ), Morillo served more than a dozen years for manslaughter and assault.
He was arrested Thursday at the Greyhound Bus terminal in Memphis, Tenn. He’ll be held there until his extradition.
The alleged accomplice, Ronal Pacheco, was arrested Wednesday. He faces charges of criminal impersonation and obstruction of governmental administration. Information about his lawyer wasn’t immediately available.
