Community Safety Awareness Meetings
JACKSON, Tenn.- Local experts want to help you stay safe in an emergency. During the next month, the Jackson-Madison County Emergency Management Agency is hosting a series of Community Safety Awareness programs beginning Tuesday. Local emergency responders will be on hand to answer questions. “They can get a chance to ask questions, you know, things that haven’t been brought up before, so just, you know, an educational type deal as well as getting them better prepared,” Marty Clements said, EMA director for Jackson-Madison County. The programs will take place at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday around the county. The one this Tuesday night is at Northeast Middle School.
