Jackson’s Man of the Year 2013

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson has its newest Man of the Year. Tuesday night, the Jackson Exchange Club hosted the annual event with downtown developer Hal Crocker taking the honor. He was selected from several nominees due to his vast impact on the rebirth of downtown, midtown and east Jackson. Crocker said he was honored to get the award but there is still a lot of work to be done. “It will help me follow through. We have a lot of things that we are working on but we’re not done yet and this gives me the recognition that makes you feel good about what you are doing and I guess it will make me feel good about going forward too,” said Hal Crocker, Jackson’s Man of the Year 2013. Crocker is best known for his part is developing the new Lift and Jackson Walk and restoring the New Southern Hotel. This was the 68th annual event.
