McNairy County Man Accused of Arson Appears in Court
BETHEL SPRINGS, Tenn. — It’s up to a grand jury to decide if a McNairy County man accused of burning down his ex-girlfriend’s house should stand trial. According to the McNairy County Sheriff, Danny Doles waived his right to preliminary hearing, Thursday. He faces counts of arson and animal cruelty. Officers say two of the homeowner’s pets died in the New Year’s Day fire and the home was destroyed. Doles was caught on a deer camera at the house the night of the fire. The homeowner says she had set it up after someone broke a window two days before.
