UT Extension seeking children for 4-H summer camps
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Tennessee 4-H camps Columbia, Crossville and Greeneville are looking for children to participate in this summer’s programs.
According to the University of Tennessee Extension office, more than 4,000 children are expected to attend the three summer camps in 2014. Any child in the fourth through eighth grade is eligible. They don’t have to be 4-H members to attend.
Activities can include archery, rifle, canoeing, swimming and zip-lining. The camps also have their own pools, dormitories, nature centers, hiking trails and sports fields.
