Man’s body found under deck in Knoxville
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Police say an autopsy has found no evidence of foul play in the death of a man whose body was found underneath a deck behind a Knoxville home.
Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk told the Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1mcT27P) in a statement that the man, who hasn’t yet been identified, had been dead about two weeks. The autopsy, however, did find that the man suffered from a medical condition that could have led to his death.
DeBusk says the death will be listed as natural causes unless something different is found in the final autopsy report.
Meanwhile, police are still trying to determine why the man was under the deck.
The homeowner said she found the body Wednesday after noticing a foul smell.
