Incoming U of M President Visits Lambuth Campus

JACKSON, Tenn.- Newly appointed University of Memphis president David Rudd visited the Lambuth campus in Jackson for the first time since his appointment. Rudd met with students and faculty this afternoon. He was approved by the board of trustees last Friday, making him the 12th president of the university. He told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News he is ready to get to work. “It’s just a great privilege to be able to serve in this way I am grateful for it. I am excited about it and I think about the difference we can make for students and for the community,” said incoming President of U of M Dr. David Rudd. Rudd is set to take over July 1.
