The 48-year-old US Air Force veterans says he looks forward to immersing himself in not only in Union, but also West Tennessee. “I want to really understand that institution I want to understand the area and hear people’s hopes and aspirations for Union and for us a Christ centered institution of higher education,” Dr. Oliver said. President Oliver succeeds Dr. David Dockery, who served as Union’s president for 18 years.
