The Salvation Army is hosting a community yard sale on Saturday, October 3 from 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. This is the first year of the sale, and the proceeds from the sale will go toward the youth programs at the Salvation Army. They will be taking donations all this week, so for more information about donating to the cause, go by their office at 125 Allen Avenue in Jackson.
