Police, DCS probe death of boy at Memphis day care
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – Tennessee’s Department of Children’s Services and Memphis police have begun an investigation into the death of a 1-year-old boy at a home day care facility.
The Commercial Appeal (http://bit.ly/1yuabfF) reports officers were called to the home in northeast Memphis on Monday and found the child dead, so they are conducting a death investigation. Police say the boy was enrolled in the day care facility.
DCS spokesman Rob Johnson told The Associated Press that the agency’s Special Investigations Unit also is investigating.
According to online records, the day care operates as Miss Pam S. Day Home.
No other information was immediately available.
