Woman charged in West Tenn. burning truck death

MILLINGTON, Tenn. (AP) — A woman has been charged with the death of a man whose badly burned body was found in a pickup truck in West Tennessee.

According to WMC-TV, 34-year-old Aleasha Cox was arrested after she confessed to her involvement in the robbery of 51-year-old Cleate Davis, which led to his death.

Davis’ burned out pickup with his body inside was discovered last Thursday by deputies near Millington.

Police say Davis had two gunshot wounds to his face.

Cox is charged with first-degree murder in perpetration of a robbery. She is due in court on Monday.
