Tennessee man pleads not guilty in slaying
JACKSBORO, Tenn. (AP) – An East Tennessee man has pleaded not guilty to murder and kidnapping charges in the death of a 49-year-old woman.
WBIR-TV (http://on.wbir.com/1y4FX7s) reports Lonnie Lee Vann of Jacksboro appeared in court Monday to answer charges in the death of Rhonda Daugherty of Campbell County, who disappeared from her home on Dec. 2 and remains missing.
Vann was extradited to Tennessee late Friday after being arrested last month in South Carolina.
According to the station, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation hasn’t said what links Vann to Daugherty death.
