NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Governor Bill Haslam was inaugurated for his second term in office Saturday. The governor highlighted the state’s success in the last four years, and called on Tennesseans to keep the momentum going. Specifically, Haslam spoke on three different subjects – efficient and effective state government, education, and jobs. The Tennessee Promise has allowed graduating high school seniors the chance for a higher education free of cost. On the job front, Haslam said the state has added more than 200,000 jobs, with more to come in the future.
