ETSU to host Ag conference in March

MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (AP) – East Tennessee State University will host an agricultural conference in March.

The “Growing Agriculture Conference: Farming for the Ages” is scheduled for March 3 and is a collaboration of ETSU’s Office of Professional Development, the Appalachian Resource Conservation and Development Council, and Walters State Community College.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Expo Center at Walters State Community College in Morristown.

The conference will focus on the best Tennessee resources for existing farms, and for farms that are in transition to the next generation. It will also provide a way for startup enterprises and established experts to meet and learn new trends and current practices.
