Savannah police update suspect description in Kroger robbery

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Police have an updated description of the man they say is responsible for an armed robbery at a local supermarket. Officers describe the suspect as a black man wearing a hoodie and mask over his face, standing about six feet two inches tall and weighing around 240-245 pounds. Police say the man robbed the store over the weekend, holding four people hostage in the process. Savannah police released a photo of the robber on Monday. Also, police say there were no visible plates on the white GMC Denali that was seen leaving the area. Anyone with knowledge of a stolen Denali or anything else related to the case is asked to call the Savannah Police Department at 731-925-3200.
