ATWOOD, Tenn. – West Carroll filled their boys basketball coaching vacancy on Tuesday. The school introduced Jason Fitch as the new leader of the War Eagles. “I always interested in getting into it,” said Fitch about becoming a head coach. “Kind of all happened quick. Got the call to interview about two weeks ago.” Prior to accepting the West Carroll position, Fitch served as an assistant at Bolivar for the boys and girls basketball team. He spent a total of four years on the Tigers’ sidelines. “They’ve been great ever since I’ve been there,” Finch said. “Nothing but top class. They’re awesome to work for. A little bittersweet, but I’m excited about the opportunity.” Fitch replaces Shay Shannon, who resigned in June.
