Toyota caravan makes stop at Hub City plant

JACKSON, Tenn. — A caravan of Toyota vehicles rolls into the Hub City Wednesday to make a stop at a local manufacturer and meet with officials. The visit is part of a global journey of Toyota engineers that started last year in Australia. The crew came to Jackson to visit the Toyota Bodine Jackson Plant on James Lawrence Road in west Jackson. Local officials including members of the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce were invited to visit with the Toyota team. The purpose of the journey is to give Toyota engineers a first-hand look at the North American driving experience to ultimately help create better vehicles, according to the company.
