JACKSON, Tenn. — No matter whether they were prosecuted for the accusations against them, the names of suspects believed to have committed child abuse or neglect are now available online via the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services. As of the first of July, new additions come from an internal, confidential registry of people investigators say they “substantiated” for child abuse. People on the list can appeal their inclusion.
