Madison basketball coach resigns for family

Madison Academic’s girls basketball coach Steve Patterson resigned on Wednesday, according to school’s athletic director Craig Murley. Murley says Patterson is heading to Brentwood Academy to teach math. His move to Middle Tennessee will not involve coaching. The reason for stepping away is to be closer to his two daughters. The Mustangs are in the process of interviewing candidates.
