THP IDs victim in fatal Haywood Co. motorcycle wreck

HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified the man killed in a Wednesday afternoon motorcycle wreck. Jerry Quinton Pinson, 65, of Farmersville, Texas, was killed when the Honda motorcycle he was driving left the roadway around 5 p.m. while traveling westbound on Interstate 40 near mile marker 66, according to a preliminary THP accident report. The motorcycle exited the north edge of the pavement and overturned several times, ejecting the driver into the median, according to the report.
