Woman faces assault charge after alleged knife threat

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman accused of threatening her boyfriend with a butcher knife appeared Thursday before a Jackson judge. Unique Dream Williams faces a charge of aggravated domestic assault after pulling a butcher knife from a kitchen drawer and threatening her boyfriend with it, according to an affidavit. Police say the incident took place around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at a Hollywood Drive apartment. Williams also is accused of causing a disturbance by cursing at her boyfriend outside the apartment and refusing to stop. Williams is being held in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
