Generals’ offensive woes continue in sweep

The Birmingham Barons completed a five-game sweep on Monday against the Jackson Generals with a 2-0 victory. Jackson’s scoreless streak was also stretched to 24 innings. The Generals are will rest on Tuesday for a league-wide off day. Their next series begins on Wednesday against the Mobile BayBears. The Generals return to The Ballpark at Jackson for a seven-game homestand on Monday July 20.
