Humboldt police investigate shooting after victim shows up at ER

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police are trying to gather information on a weekend shooting after a teenager shows up at a local emergency room with a gunshot wound. A 19-year-old black man from Humboldt came to the Humboldt Medical Center emergency room around 10:20 p.m. Sunday with a non life-threatening gunshot wound, according to the Humboldt Police Department. Police say the victim was uncooperative in the investigation and was treated and released.
