Liberty grad signs with Turkey team

Jackson native Kendall Anthony is continuing his basketball career overseas. The Liberty Tech grad has signed on to play with Gelisim Koleji in the Turkish TB2L league, according to Richmond University athletics. “I‘m so blessed to sign a professional contract in Turkey,” Anthony said in the school’s news release. “Playing professionally has long been a dream of mine, and I can‘t wait to get over there and get started.” Anthony leaves Richmond with the school record in three-pointers with 270.
