Woman accused of stealing money from former employer

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A Weakley County woman will appear before a judge Wednesday, accused of stealing more than $27,000 from her former employer. According to the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office, Amy Lyn Halbrook faces a count of felony theft. Investigators said between September of last year and this April she created and forged several product tickets at Dale’s Recycling in McKenzie and pocketed the cash. Halbrook will appear Wednesday in Weakley County General Sessions Court.
