JCM head football coach Orentheus Taylor wouldn’t describe the first two weeks of camp as perfect. He told his team on Monday morning that they have to be more consistent. “We’ve had some ups and downs the last couple weeks,” Taylor said. “We know we’re going to face adversity. That’s going to come. It’s how we handled it.” Taylor’s attitude to handling adversity is coming to practice every day and being disciplined. The Cougars start practicing twice a day this week. “We’ll be physical is one thing I’m asking of these guys,” Taylor said. “When we step on the field we want the opponent to know we’ve been there.”
