MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Beech Bluff Baptist Church accepted donations Friday night for their third annual day of blessing. The donation night was in preparation for an event Saturday to offer free school supplies and uniforms for students in need. Organizers said they understand back-to-school shopping can be expensive and that it’s a blessing to be able to help parents out. “We’re here to help. We want anything we have to be offered to them, and we just want them to have a good experience,” church member Leslie Baker said. If your child needs school supplies or uniforms, the event is free. The Day of Blessing will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Beech Bluff Baptist Church. There also will be free food.
