Council approves funds for tennis project, awards $220K paving contract

JACKSON, Tenn. — City Council members on Tuesday approved more than $35,000 in funding for the new tennis complex in north Jackson. The approved funding includes $14,310 for electrical cable to provide power, $18,000 for an irrigation system, $2,974 for a water fountain and $1,050 for additional design work. The council also approved awarding the contract for paving the parking lot to MSB in the amount of $221,451.
