Police search for suspects in armed robbery

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police say they are looking for suspects involved in an armed robbery around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News three people were walking on East Forest Avenue when a black Chevrolet Impala and a Dodge Stratus pulled up to them. They say the suspects then pulled out a handgun and stole a backpack from them. Investigators said no shots were fired, and the incident remains under investigation.
