Humboldt woman charged with check fraud

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A woman is facing charges after an investigation prompted by a fraudulent check passed at a local business. Benita Cary, 43, of Humboldt is charged with theft over $1,000, according to the Humboldt Police Department. She was transported to the Gibson County Criminal Complex in Trenton.
