JACKSON, Tenn. — A midnight fire earlier this week that destroyed the club house and dozens of golf carts at an east Jackson golf course has been ruled an arson. Fire Marshal Lamar Childress has ruled the Bent Tree Golf Course fire an arson and has sent evidence to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Firefighters said they got the call to the blaze around 12 a.m. Tuesday. The investigation is ongoing. Fire officials do not believe this incident is related to a recent fire at Camellia Trace Apartments.
