JACKSON, Tenn.-Tennessee Senator Bob Corker was in the Hub City Thursday to talk with the area’s young leaders. He spoke to the Young Professionals Club, an event sponsored by The Chamber. The chairman of the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee used his time to talk about one of the biggest issues in Washington right now, the deal negotiated by President Obama with Iran. Senator Corker argued, Iran is one of largest exporters of terrorism and talked about why he does not support the deal. “It destabilizes it and creates even more issues for us to be concerned with down the road. so, it’s a very important issues for people here in West Tennessee even though it’s not something obviously people are waking up, you know, and thinking about,” said Senator Corker. The vote that could veto the current nuclear agreement with Iran is set to take place in September.
