Rhythm and Hues celebrates talented students in Haywood Co.

HAYWOOD CO., Tenn.—A community event was hosted Saturday in Haywood county for ages K through 12th grade.

Rhythm and Hues organizers say the day features performances from students across grade levels, Pre-K through 12th grade.

While it is meant for family and friends to enjoy, law enforcement says their focus is simple: ‘keep the area under control.’

“We have performances from students from Pre-K through 12th grade, choir, and bands. Then we have an art exhibit of over 200 pieces of artwork from our students, and it is simply a community opportunity,” said Danny Bynum, Sergeant Over Patrol.

“Main goal for us today is to come out and control the area.
Make sure everybody’s having fun, and doing it safety, and they’re watching the town, you know, copen county and Brownsville,” said Anthony Jones, Sergeant.

They also say it was an exciting event for everyone and a community celebration that’s free and open to the public.
