Sitel to bring 500 new jobs to Starkville
STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) – A company that provides customer service workers for contracting clients plans to add 500 jobs at its call center in Starkville.
Sitel announced Tuesday in a news release that it is adding 400 full-time positions and 100 seasonal jobs. Company officials say the new hires are needed to handle technical calls for the television industry and in the insurance and benefits enrollment industry.
Sitel says the company will hold a job fair in Starkville in the coming weeks to look for workers.
A Nashville, Tennessee, based subsidiary of the Canadian firm Onex Corp., Sitel employs about 56,000 people who work from home or at more than 110 centers in 23 countries.
