Officers arrest 6 juveniles at JCM for fighting

JACKSON, Tenn. — Six juveniles were arrested Thursday morning at Jackson-Central Merry High School, according to the sheriff’s office. Officers responded to two separate calls about fights on the campus, and the juveniles were arrested for fighting and disorderly conduct, according to Tom Mapes, spokesman for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. They were transported to the juvenile detention center, according to Mapes. In an unrelated case, the student resource officer at JCM assisted the Jackson Police Department around 12:25 p.m. in arresting an aggravated robbery suspect. The juvenile was located on the campus and taken into custody.
