Sites cleared for new Henderson Co. volunteer fire stations

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Sites have been cleared for the construction of two new volunteer fire stations. Construction will begin once they bid out the project, according to Henderson County Fire Chief Lynn Murphy. The county is getting a total of six new volunteer fire stations. Henderson County commissioners approved $450,000 for the project. Murphy said all the land was donated by residents.
