YMCA hosts breakfast on Jackson fitness center’s last day

JACKSON, Tenn. — Monday marks the last day for the YMCA fitness center in Jackson. The staff held a breakfast for members and employees at the facility, located at 1515 Campbell Street. The closure comes as the board of directors is restructuring the operations of the Jackson YMCA to make best use of limited resources and allocate those resources to childcare and youth programs, according to a YMCA release. The board is looking at opportunities to reach more families in need of childcare and expand the current Three-Star childcare program through partnerships, according to the release.
