JACKSON, Tenn.-The Jackson-Madison County Schools superintendent announces the appointments of interim leadership at Liberty Technology Magnet High School. This, after the school’s principal, Dr. June Murry was abruptly let go last week. Dr. Verna Ruffin said retired North Side High School Principal Jan Watson is joining the staff on a consultancy basis until a principal is appointed. Also, current head basketball coach James Shaw has been named to the administrative team on an interim basis.
