1861 – 1865 Civil War Artifact Exhibit
Army/Navy Expedition features Civil War artifacts, as well as 1/4 inch scale models of boats used to control the Mississippi River and its tributaries in 1862. Among the infantry artifacts is a original bummer cap and several types of weapons. The exhibits creators, Jack Barnhart and Kraig Lawson will be onsite to answer visitors questions. They have collected artifacts for more than 30 years. It spotlights the personal side of the young soldiers of the time.
