Battle of Johnsonville 151st Anniversary Living History Event
Cannons will ring out along the Tennessee River in both Benton and Humphreys County for the 151st anniversary of the battle at the Johnsonville Supply Depot. On November 4, 1864 Confederate troops lead by General Nathan Bedford Forrest attacked the Union held supply base in Johnsonville. The attack resulted in near destruction of the base. Both parks will feature artillery, infantry and civilian demonstrations throughout the day.
