Suspect in slaying of parents, aunt, arrested in New Orleans

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (AP) – A man accused of killing his parents and aunt has been captured in New Orleans.

Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal told the Johnson City Press (http://bit.ly/1LrhiAH) deputies were alerted to search the victims’ Jonesborough home by a woman in California. She called 911 early Saturday to report Daniel Lee Henry told her he had killed his family.

Deputies found the bodies about 1:30 a.m. Graybeal said they had been shot in the head sometime on Friday.

Henry was quickly added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted list.

The 38-year-old was arrested in New Orleans about 8:30 p.m. Saturday by the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force while staying at a hotel he had checked into under his own name.

A warrant charges Henry with three counts of first-degree murder.
