Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Sunday
Temperatures will be dropping to the upper 40s and lower to middle 50s tonight under cloudy skies and light winds. A warm front to our south is moving this way and is forecast to return warmer temperatures with a better chance for rain. Monday may have somewhat of a gloomy start but it will feel more like May later this week!
MONDAY
Under cloudy skies, temperatures will warm up to the middle to upper 60s and lower 70s. Scattered showers will be possible but most of the rain appears to stay on the light side on Monday. An isolated thunderstorm or two will be possible.
MIDWEEK
Tuesday may end up offering West Tennessee the best chance for rain with scattered showers and thunderstorms forecast for most of the region. There’s a low chance for one or two strong thunderstorms to develop in southwest Tennessee as a cold front moves through the region. Wednesday and Thursday should bring drier weather with high pressure building in. By that point, much of West Tennessee may collect close to half an inch of rainfall.
