Weather Update – 9:00 p.m. Friday
Broken clouds continue to move through the area. Most of us were able to get a glimpse of the sun as it was setting tonight. There was a brief redeveloped line of light rain showers between the Parsons and Savannah area but that quickly is making its way off to the east.
There’s a nice weekend on tap for us but there could be some dense fog forming very late tonight and tomorrow morning. Warmer weather is also forecast to return next week.
TONIGHT
Skies will gradually become mostly clear tonight allowing temperatures to drop into the middle 50s. The clearer skies and cooler weather could result in areas of fog developing before and around sunrise at 5:46 a.m. Saturday morning. Be cautious if you’ll be driving early tomorrow!
THIS WEEKEND
Skies may still not be completely clear on Saturday as we’ll remain under the influence of low pressure to an extent. Expect partly cloudy skies at times with high temperatures warming up to the middle 70s on Saturday but the upper 70s on Sunday when skies become much clearer. To make things even nicer, our dew points will be in the 50s creating low humidity for both days.
NEXT WEEK
High pressure will continue the dry and mainly clear weather from Sunday into the start of the workweek but clouds will eventually return Monday night into Tuesday. Signals pointing to rain next week are not very strong right now but we may see the next chance for a scattered shower or thunderstorm return by Tuesday. Temperatures will warm up in the lower and middle 80s as winds return from the south. The humidity also starts to rise this week making for some muggy days ahead. Next week finally looks more like the month of May!
Have a wonderful weekend!
