Milan police investigate early morning homicide

MILAN, Tenn. — Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirm they are assisting Milan police in a homicide investigation.

Investigators said Christopher Grant Eskew was found injured at the Budget Inn motel, located at 1073 West Vanhook.

TBI spokesman Josh DeVine said Eskew later died at Milan General Hospital.

“TBI agents continue to work to assist the Milan Police Department in investigating the circumstances that led to the death of Christopher Grant Eskew,” DeVine said in an email.

DeVine said the investigation is still active and ongoing.
